The complete

chemical recapture

pretreatment system

877-CHEMCAP (877-243-6227)

Optional chemical injection control systems (several models) are available with ChemCapture, and which regulate the chemistry concentrations in the tank to ensure pretreatment specifications.

Our special, floor-style industrial wash station will completely isolate the wash process and permit efficient reclamation of wash solution.  Our wash station includes:

> Built in lighting for excellent visibility.

> Entrance and exit man doors.

> Pass through part openings to accommodate conveyor and parts.

> Exhaust blower with metal filtration to exhaust steam.

> 18-gauge galvanized structural steel construction, pre-punched and companion flanged for easy assembly.

> Working dimensions of 12’0” Wide x 12’0”High x 20’0” Deep.

The station includes:

> One 24" Tube axial in-line exhaust fan (4,000 CFM @ 3/8” s.p.) that is AMCA certified. Tube axial fan features a continuously welded housing for an airtight seal and is painted with a thermal setting polyester urethane coating (Permatector). This provides an excellent scratch resistance and weather protection.  The propellers are non-sparking cast aluminum for consistent air velocity at higher static pressures. The universal motor plates will allow adjustable belt tensioning. The bearings are of premium air handling quality, self-aligning, and have a fatigue life in excess of 40,000 hours at maximum operating speed. The fan is also equipped with extended lube lines with grease fittings, allowing for lubrication without disassembling the fan. The totally enclosed belt guard provides protection from the rotating pulley (OSHA Requirement). All sound levels are calculated per AMCA Standards 301.

> One 1-HP tri-voltage 208/230/460 volts, 3 phase, 60 hz TEFC high efficiency motor with variable pitch drive sheave. Motors feature a heavy gauge steel frame, double sealed ball bearings that are mechanically locked on the shaft end, and bolt on motor base for easy removal. The service factors for the motor are 1.15 for 3-phase power and 1.0 on 1-phase power. UL recognized and CSA certified.

> Six 48" 4-tube fluorescent fixtures, 265 mA, 32 watt T-8 ballast with dual voltage. Day-Brite lights feature a baked white enamel finish that creates a durable highly reflective light fixture. The clear tempered safety glass (NFPA-33 Compliant) feature a durable long lasting seal against vapor, dust, and moisture. Lights are Class I, Division 2, Groups A,B,C & D and Class II, Division 2, Groups F & G rated. Lights are ETL & ETL-C listed and are also listed for locations having deposits of readily combustible paint residue. Instant start (starting temperature at 0 degrees F.) T-8 electronic ballast provides greater energy savings. The lamp holders are spring loaded to reduce shock and vibration. The light fixture features rear access for easy lamp replacement.

> Two part openings for pass through application approximately 24”w x 80”H with 24” hook slot pending final system engineering .

> One box ceiling type exhaust chamber.

> Two personnel access doors with panic latch (3’0”W x 7’0”H) with 18” x 24” clear tempered glass observation window.

> One set of intake filters, 20x20 Aluminum.

> One pre-wired electrical control panel featuring single point connection for quick and easy wiring with NEMA-12 rated enclosure.  Includes: main breaker disconnect, magnetic motor starter, motor fuse protection, lighting contactor , lighting fuse protection, terminal strips for field wiring, system operating lights, air make-up temp select , and UL industrial listing.

A durable, 50 foot hose is included with ChemCapture, is rated up to 4,000 PSI, and is equipped with quick disconnect fittings. To accommodate your needs, other hose lengths are available.

An optional high-end, submersible sump pump to return wash water is recommended and completely encased in plastic, .4 HSP, and 45 GPM max. The pump was designed for the plating industry to aggressively move chemistry from tank to tank, and given that we have never experienced failure with it, we recommend it to all customers. Either a float switch or a water sensing unit that recognizes at 1/2” high, is 115V, 4.5 AMPS, includes a “twist type” plug, and is operated directly from the main control panel, are available. If you opt to provide your own sump pump, we will provide the “male” end of the twist plug.

An optional schedule 80 PVC 3/4” return line from the wash area to the system is recommended.

An optional sump well that can accommodate two submersible pumps, can be easily cemented into an existing floor, and can detect even a small amount of solution in the tank is recommended. The well will turn the pump on when solution is detected and send it back to the wash tank, ensuring that wash and rinse water do not combine and/or dilute the solution in the tank.
